Beware DeLonghi Fan Heater in Kipa
« on: December 09, 2010, 14:48:47 PM »
I bought a DeLonghi fan heater in Kipa this morning.  On the front of the box was a large picture of model HVN2050 T; on the back of the box was a large picture of model HVN2050 T. So, silly me, I assumed that the box contained a HVN2050 T; when I returned home and opened the box I found that this was not the case. Inside was model HVN2030. I looked at the box again and on one side was yet another picture of the HVN2050 T but on the other side were 4 small pictures of different models and an arrow pointing at the HVN2030 picture.
So, just beware, the packaging of this product is very misleading. It doesn't do what it says on the tin !!

Report it to their head office in Italy via their website

http://www.delonghi.com/it_it/contact-form/

I used to be in charge of their UK distribution and I know that they're eager to fix things when they go wrong, or when customers aren't satisfied with a product or service.

Take the heater back and ask to speak to the young lady in charge of cust0mer service, she speaks very good English and is very helpful.if you are told she isnt available ask for the manager (He dosnt speak Engish).if you dont get satisfaction tell them you will ring izmia and speak to the English speaking manager there, believe me they will go out of their way to help you. i have just had my money returned from a faulty dish washer bought in october after contacting this gentleman.

Thanks, I contacted them immediately whilst I was still annoyed and am awaiting their reply.
