Today marks the 3rd anniversary of the day the underprivileged kids of Mugla lost their great champion.

In the afternoon of this day in 2018 the wonderful Stuart MacDonald, aka Rod Stewart passed away in hospital in Fethiye having felt unwell earlier in the day.

Stuart, a quiet, unassuming man, was a brilliant entertain who selflessly gave of his holiday time to put on impromptu concerts which raise tens of thousands of lira for the Calis Children’s Charity and others. 

He will always be sadly missed but never forgotten. Our thoughts are very much with Linda today.

Thanks for the reminder John.  A great entertainer who brought joy to many people on the prom at Lees Bar and helped so many underprivileged youngsters through his generosity.  May God grant him eternal rest.
