Normal fun quiz and proceeds will go towards the young boys boxing club.

Special chinese menu optional for 20tl of which 5lt will go towards the charity, or its 5lt per person for quiz if not eating.

Hope they have managed to produce a Chinese meal that is edible - unlike the ones I have previously sampled there.

Nice to see supportive posts like that for a charity event. Uzumlu, there's nowhere like it.

I, personnally, support many charity events in Uzumlu, Calis and Fethiye.   Supporting a charity does not mean we will suffer inedible meals as has happened at two charity events at the Camlik.

One doesn't have to eat anywhere just to support a good cause, just make your contribution to the cause and join in the fun.
I think most of the resturants in Turkey have had a problem or two when they have tried a new menu, no one is perfect, we all have our faults and some people are too quick to judge.
Lets face it the British food in UK resturants are not always what they should be and they have had centuries of practice at it!
I am no food connoisseur, but in the UK I have sent quite a few meals back to the Kitchen and remember once giving the chef 3 chances to get it right before walking out without eating or paying for the order.
I am quite happy to & do support multiple charities here in Uzumlu and Fethiye, not just one, as one resturant in Uzumlu has done in the past 2 years, that was their choice and it is their right to do so.
Personally though I would prefer to support an event where the owners of any establishment do not abuse women, physically OR verbally!

Hamlet - whoever you are, as you don't identify yourself, your last sentence was not worthy of reading or comment.

Quite agree Calvin, there is no need to be spiteful in a post about the food in the Camlik, this is a charity event trying to encourage people to come not to put them off by saying the food is not edible!

All the restaurants here try their best, especially when coping with large numbers and everyone of the restaurants don't always get it right and people can make up their own minds not to be influenced hopefully!

FYI: - This quiz is Fi & Eric’s with Jude & Bazz as quiz masters and funds are going to a charity of their choosing!

Just back from the quiz.  It was a very enjoyable night, the food was excellent.  Ertan is doing a great job with the Camlik and has got the support of many.  Thanks to everyone involved tonight, we enjoyed the company, the quiz, the food.  What more can you ask while raising some money for a local club.

Absolutely, well done and nice to see some of the boxing kids and their unpaid trainer coming in to thank us for the support before the total was announced. Yes the food seems to improve all the time, Ertan is really trying to please and deserves all the support & encouragement to make it even better. The only resturant in Uzumlu to realise that a smart dress code for the staff is better than letting them serve whilst dressed in their normal daily casual clothing.

Very good Chinese food last night at the Camlik, probably the best yet and far from inedible!

Lovely to see the boxing manager / coach come to say thank you.

Thanks for Jude and Bazz for putting the quiz together and again thanks for local support and for being so generous and great amount achieved for the Boxing Club!

Next monthly quiz is at the Olive Garden Yesil Uzumlu Restaurant on Monday 25th March, but will post details nearer the time.
