Title: Passport Recognition Machines

(I may have posted about this before but found nought when searching)

Glasgow Airport has 5 self service passport recognition machines each of which failed more than once this morning.

This resulted in the affected passengers being ushered over to one of five police officers who scanned the "offending" passports with machines which instantly recognised them.

 My question would be...why not have the same machines the police offers use at the self service points.

It's the dodgy 10p's that keep jamming those machines.
