Transfer 8mm cine film to DVD
« on: January 21, 2009, 14:06:46 PM »
I have a number of 8mm cassettes, all some 25 years old, I am thinking of moving these to DVD.
I have looked at UK costs, all of which make it too costly to do. Does anyone know where I can get this done at a fair cost. The film content is only of memories value.

Alan thanks for reminding of a "to do"

We have 8mm film and I was going to get them changed over to dvd 18months ago,  I got a quote and it was so much less than the UK, I just cant remember,

The shop that I enquired to is:
the road behind the PTT and it is one of the shops opposite BIM supermarket.

If I remember I will try to get the quote again and let you know, unless someone else has the answer on the forum, I would be interested.

There is someone who does it in Fethiye, I will find the details out tonight, he is very reasonable on cost.
