I am over on Monday and I am intending to pay a visit to the animal centre when I am there - if I can find it that is.  If there is anything I can do to help please let me know but I will only be there for 3 weeks.

I was speaking to my future daughter -in -law today and she was telling me about her niece's birthday party this year.  They live in San Francisco.
All the girls are animal mad so when one turned seven she choose to have a party in the local rescue centre.  The girls were told about the dogs and how they came to be there then had a little party afterwards.
Some may say "only in America".
But, What a good way to raise funds, educate and raise awareness of good pet ownership and you never know some  dogs may get a home out of it.

Education is where it begins,what a great idea for making the children aware and i am sure a good time was had by all.
