Hi, Whereabouts is the Tuesday market? From where you get off the boat taxi. And is the same pace where the second hand market is held?

Sorry, thought you knew where the second-hand market was held.

Get off the water-taxi, turn left and follow the promenade all the way until you reach the main-road where the canal discharges into the sea. Follow the road, and the crowds, along the road beside the canal and you'll easily find the market.

Thanks Alan, I always get lost in Fethiye, I have no sense of direction at all as I get older!
I tried to find the dolmus station last year to get to Uzumlu-I found it in end and managed to get there, but still, a lot of searching and walking up the same streets numerous times! Think I will google a map of Fethiye town!

Cheeky now!! Actually it may be a good idea. I don't mind gettng lost, you tend to see a lot more, but last time it was at night, I was trying to find where the dolmus back to Calis was and it was quite scary in those back streets on my own, doubt I will be doing it this year, lookin for a map online as we speak! (Or type) :D

Most of the petrol stations in the area have good street maps and some of the stationery shops sell them too.
