Is the Tuesday Market local orientated, as oppose to being full of tourist tat

Will it be a good place to get some decent fruit, bread, cheese etc, you know the type of stuff for making a sandwich in the apartment and maybe the odd salad.

They don't serve beers and spirits, so the market sellers don't get rat a**ed and accidently give the customers the wrong change

Mr Scunner you know very well the Tuesday market is 5 days before the Sunday market:D

So is it a good place to get some decent things from and not like the soukkes (wrong spelling me thinks $:-\$ ) in some other countries that end up full of tourist tat[?]

We went all the way to Tunisia in 2002 and looked forward to seeing the traditional market and sampling the sellers wares

, only to find it full of kiss me quick hats and toy camels with sunglasses on

. Not to mention the plastic Teletubby phone my little un wanted

All that way and I could have got better in our corner shop

I must disagree simon, the Tuesday market is 2 days AFTER the Sunday market.
