im sure i saw thread on here for the swimming pools that the likes of B &Q sell, the ones that dont have to be dug in the ground. Have done a search but only coming up with Dededen toy shop & their website dos'nt work. Can anybody help please.

I think what you want is a splash pool or above ground pool there's plenty of suppliers in the UK but can't find any for Turkey on the internet (only had a quick look)

Sorry for being a little thick but what makes a swimming pool English? Is the water kept freezing cold and has a tire floating in it?

Try Carrefor and there are some pool shops on the road up through Tasyaka towards hisaranu - left hand side. They did have them in at one time. I had one which got taken out by winter storms and wreaked it. Bought mine originally in UK from costco but i have seen them here and someone sold one a while back too.

Thank you trainer & screamlead, will try carrefor & pool shops

Starman i will probably need a tyre for floating as i cant swim very well, as for the water being freezing cold that would great in the heat of the summer here.

Two meters wide and around 70 cm deep from the Carafor last year. By the autobus.

Thanks Jackstee will try Carafor, that would be great for the grandchildren to play in.
