The sun is shining, the sky is blue, and we are very happy to be back in lovely Calis. The Grand Vison, while a substitute hotel, is delightful.
Yes it's dusty, the roads are a mess but we love it to bits anyway. We are off for a mooch in Gunlukbasi shortly to see what we fancy for dinner, and tomorrow planning a mission from Hisaronu to Fethiye, via Kayakoy, on foot. Beats work on a Monday morning hands down. :-)

Glad to here the Grand Vizon is OK. We have booked to stay there in September but couldn't find any recent reviews on trip advisor, etc. but pleased it is alright. We knew it would be quiet which is a reason we picked it due to its location and proximity to local transport, beach, etc. Will be a bit hot walking from Hisaronu via Kaya to Fethiye. We have walked Fethiye to Kaya but that was in May when it is cooler and even then it was hot in places - enjoy anyway.

Angela, pleased your happy with Grand Vizon.Its a nice quite restful retreat.Our first visit was approx. 13yrs ago and nine years ago we stayed for eight weeks whilst we were buying our place in the sun. Ibraham is a real gent on the desk. If you get the time please send our best wishes (david & Barbara)
