Have just received from Jet 2 (due to fly in April) that;-
Turkey has confirmed that passengers without Turkish Residency Permits will not be allowed to enter Turkey within 14days of visiting
China-South Korea-Iran-Iraq and ITALY.

Hi
The way I read it, was,
People with residency would be allowed to enter , get tested and put in quarantine if required.
People without residency would not be allowed in.

I hope that we are all allowed to go to turkey but safety comes first.
Its on the plane that bothers me with all the coughing and spluttering.

My friend flew from Manchester with Jet2 this morning, arriving in Antalya.  On the flight they had to complete a form so that they could be located in the event that someone on the flight contracted Coronavirus. There were NO Thermal temperature checks, no forms to complete on arrival. Nothing.  She was through the terminal and in her taxi within 10 minutes of arrival.

People arriving at UK airports from an Italian zone where 16 million are in isolation aren't being checked either.

Being an island, the government could have closed this down had they taken action last month. No one in and no one out.  As usual the U.K. has dragged its heels and people are paying the price.  I heard that Turks returning from abroad, including the U.K. have been told to self isolate for 14 days.  Hope it isn’t true that it’s including the U.K. but, if needs must.

Turkish embassy's announcement. Says there is no suspend for the flights between UK and Turkey at the moment, but advise to Turkish citizens in UK to return Turkey asap.
