There are hundreds as it's a huge area. One right on the doorstep of Fethiye is Cadianda.

Do a search for the following - like Fi says there is so much within a short drive:
Xanthos
Letoon
Myra
Tlos
Patara
Pinara
But that's just scratching the surface. Heading further afield (but still within 2-3 hours drive near Antalya) my personal favourite, Aspendos:

p.s. I do know that Aspendos isn't in Mugla :)

I advise you to go to Ephesus. It is not in Mugla and not very close. 3 hours drive from Fethiye, but worth for it. You can see the place where Mother Marry lived her last years also, they are very close to eachother.

we adore Ephesus - a fantastic trip (but not in July / August - when it is toooooo hot to wander around and overrun with tourists !). Off season it is wonderful, and then a few miles further on you have Pamukale - stunningly weird place.

At Aspendos during the summer months there is a programme of Concerts,Ballet and Opera.
Visit the site during daylight and return in the evening for a concert. Start time used to be around 9pm, when it gets dark, and can continue past midnight.
Take a cushion, a bottle of wine and enjoy.

However, it is still worth the visit.
More advice, in addition to the big cushion you may well need a step ladder as the hieght between some of the tiers is considerable.

The ballet and operas which are at Aspendos will now be in the new theatre near to the original site .We went last year for one of the last performances in the Amphitheatre which is near to the new building.

Also Mugla itself is worth a visit. At the back of the town there are some very old Ottoman houses that are lovely to see they are up through the town shops near the mountains, very quaint and interesting. Not difficult to find either. You can get a coach from the Otogar direct to Mugla takes about 2hrs 30 mins approx, probably 1hour 30 mins to drive yourself.
