Probably not related but I went to the chemist near Devlet today at about 14:15. When I was there a military Westmorland (camourflage livery) landed in the hospital grounds outside the A&E entrance. Two medical teams rushed out with trolleys and rushed back in with "bodies" on the trolleys. The chopper then left pronto. It was all a bit dramatic.

I heard that 2 people died today, not sure if it was 2 solo paragliders or a tandem. I think it's been on the Turkish news but I didn't see it, very sad.

I also heard that two people died, they collided and then went into the mountain.  One was Turkish and the other was, I was told, Polish.
As Donna said, very sad news indeed.

It's tragic, I heard that it was tandem and the harness came away from the parachute.
