has anyone got any up to date pics of the bridge and main street as me and the missus are pineing for a bit of Calis. Did see one pic a while ago of a half finish bridge, just need a fix till Sept lol

Now we have 'bridge spotters' lol.

I have no pics but can tell you there is a footbridge on both sides of the road now and they are nice to look at and safe to walk on.

The canal bank has been cleared and a few people are angry because it will affect the wild life badly. It looks very sparse in some areas on the bank and I understand it's going to be concreted (the bank not the canal :)

Thanks for trying everyone and Lisacarson out on 12th Sept only for the weekend to furnish the new place might see me in ossie asleep after a hetic day lol next over for a week at the end of October for the half term break. Stoop a Dolmus pic would be nice as well lol

Stoops correct of course I am sad! I actually rarely take photos in Calis anymore as I could paper the walls with sunsets, bars ,waiters etc but a new bridge was too much to resist! Sorry about the size !


 PS the ballons arent standard! It was carnival day.

I'm sure when we were over end of May the bridge on the right hand side of the picture wasn't there.   8)

It's all looking really good - only 32 more days and we'll be back for almost 4 weeks!  Can't wait!   8)i
