Somewhat bizarrely the answer is yes. Turkish law does not as i understand require that you are paid to be considered 'working'!
It may be possible to do a charity fun night and perhaps someone might like to investigate that possibility

i would be interested it would be a bit of fun and im sure we wont get fined deported or heads chopped off  but im sure people will now dissagree and this will carry on and on:D

thats silly.. i wonder where they draw the line because surely if there were a small group of people round someone's house they wouldnt act... would they?

for gods sake i was suggesting a fun night, not a money making exercise!! in the privacy of a home if needs be!!
some people forget to leave behind the neighbourhood watch schemes and the pta committee when they come to turkey!/
if people put as much energy in to there own projects and hobbies as they do policing other folks we might all feel a bit free?
and i would put money on it that your friend was shopped by a brit?
