To get back to topic ... Does anyone know what happened to this horse that looked white but might have been grey, that either went past or passed Tinx' house in the direction of Calis (but it might have Calais).

If you are REALLY serious about that Keith, a "Cock-Horse" is one of those "toys" that kids used to ride upon, i.e. a wooden horse head mounted on a piece of brush shaft or similar piece of wood.
