Does anyone have use a CB radio or are they not legal there?

Not seen 1 in the 5 months I've been here, not a "twig" in sight on any of the trucks either.

CB radio operates on certain frequencies allowed by national governments.  These frequencies vary from country to country and are dependent upon national regulations.  As Turkey is very reluctant to release maps I doubt very much that they allow certain frequencies to be available to the general public.

It is also very, very difficult to get frequencies allocated for hand radios. We used to use them in Hotels ( security etc) and sometimes waited a year.

Thanks everyone i guess i will sell my one then as it wont be a lot of use when we get there.
