"Hogmanay" really means "help me get up".

Not quite ""up to" or even "up into" or even (dare I say it) "up" in any other way - rather "up from" i.e. the cold pavement.

I was younger then - long before I learned not to mix my drinks.

I remember eating the best burgers in the world from a roadside van.......and missing my flight home.
