Really enjoyed our meal here and will definitely be going back as there were plenty of other things I wanted to try on the menu too - all of the below with two gin and tonics 150TL
Starters
Fish roll - absolutely delicious

Also in the hot starter section - can't remember the name but it will be obvious - also absolutely delicious and would be enough to have as a main if you are having starters

Beautiful moist fish kebab - Akya fish not sure it was on the menu; it was the suggestion of the waiter
(http://s17.postimg.org/8ksny4dkb/062.jpg) (http://postimg.org/image/8ksny4dkb/)
Fish soup - tasted like chicken and cream - wouldn't order again
(http://s7.postimg.org/r0xnhck9z/060.jpg) (http://postimg.org/image/r0xnhck9z/)
Cold meze - order from a selection on a tray at the table and you get the actual one you choose, they are not just samples with fresh coming from the kitchen once you have chosen.
Yogurt with tomato and aubergine - very nice
(http://s21.postimg.org/aixzxlw2r/053.jpg) (http://postimg.org/image/aixzxlw2r/)
Green salad with pomegranate - would have been nicer if it hadn't been sitting for a while and some of the hidden leaves a bit soggy
(http://s17.postimg.org/bgfefud9n/054.jpg) (http://postimg.org/image/bgfefud9n/)
Ezme
(http://s28.postimg.org/yh5e74yrt/055.jpg) (http://postimg.org/image/yh5e74yrt/)
Salad with honey and mustard dressing - very nice

Accompaniments

Located at Yes marina - quite a way past Yacht Classic heading out of town and shortly before you turn right towards the boat yards.

It's a bit of a hidden gem as far as we're concerned with the bonus thats its a 5min walk from home, albeit uphill! It's one of those places that unless you know about it, you're unlikely to visit as it's a little bit out of town.
Been using it from when it opened and recommend it to folks who use our place - consistently good feedback, one couple ate there three nights out of seven!
We haven't been for a couple of years now but one thing that made it popular with us was their wine list - decent wines, both domestic and imported, all at a reasonable price. No Cumartesi served here.

Silly question, do they only serve fish? I love fish, but Phil cannot eat it as he has an intolerance to it and it makes him very sick (only got it about 6 year ago). I would love to eat at a fish restaurant again.
-
They do have other things on their menu - steak ;)
-
Steak...wow, now that is unusual, the place will now be packed with Brits. Thanks for the info Nichola. ;D ;)
-
Actually it's unlikely to be packed with Brits. It is on a marina so it attracts a more international clientele from the yachts and other discerning diners like John and his family have obviously discovered it but I got the impression it was generally not that busy as it is hidden away and you sort of need to know where it is.
The link I posted to their web site might give you more information about what else is on the menu but I remember there were alternatives and when we go again I will check the menu and report back.

on next years list! ta :)

Actually it's unlikely to be packed with Brits.
Correct. In fact, I've never seen it packed - busy yes, but never full. It's a fair old size, not sure they'd have enough staff if the place filled up!
Clientele is mainly Turkish (don't know about July/August) with a few folks from the local hotels. Happy to just serve drinks as well if thats all you're after.
Discerning Nichola? Aye, a wee bit like yourself in that respect ;)

Thanks for the info Nichola and John F. Looks like a must try for Mrs Toky and myself next time out. Video and Menu also look good.
-
Let us know if you are going on a Sunday Mr Toky and we may well see you there :)
-
We will give it a try, strangely enough Phil can eat prawns, so he can try them.

We went again to Yengeç and tried a few different dishes... again the bill about 150tl with a glass of wine and one G&T
Doğan choosing
(http://s13.postimg.org/lx6wtnyk3/011.jpg) (http://postimg.org/image/lx6wtnyk3/)
Less meze this time and chose the ezme and the yogurt with peeper and aubergine again and another of those seafood rolls. Plus Dogan ordered a shrimp/prawn starter dish.

I had the seafood dish hot starter pictured in the first post of this topic as a main and Doğan had a swordfish steak which was really, really tasty and moist.

I like what they do to the lemons to stop the pips getting out.
Wine

And a couple of pics of parts of their menu so you can see what else they offer and how much...

We went again to Yengeç and tried a few different dishes...
You got nothing better to do than swan around Fethiye stuffing your face? I reckon Doğan should maybe find you a wee part time job to keep you busy.

This restaurant appears (from the menu photos) to offer something I long for but seldom ever find. It's a simple thing.
A seafood restaurant that offers a decent choice of non-seafood dishes on the menu. I rarely get to go to such places because of family members who don't like any seafood at all so would have to sit and watch me eating :)
-
Going again this Friday - girls night out - and I'm hoping someone will have a non fish dish so I can see what it's like.
Tried something different for mains the other night, their special, which we shared and it was delicious. The photos on my phone so I'll share it another time. I'm addicted to their seafood pastry for starters.
This time we shared the mixed meze platter, choose your six, one seafood pastry, the main, and 2 glasses of nice wine and the bill was 100₺.

What's the parking like? It's our 56th wedding anniversary on Sat 5th December is it best to book in advance? :) :) :) We are looking for somewhere new for a change and the right ups seem very good.
-
Easy, they've got their own car park. Never had to book there before - can't do any harm though.

-
Thanks John I'll check it out before we go.
-
Plenty of off road parking Don right next to the restaurant. You just need to take the slip road by the restaurant sign on the street.
No need to book but can't hurt. I booked for last Friday just because I was there a few days beforehand but it wasn't really necessary.
Why not give it a try one lunch time.
-
Thanks Nichola I might just do that.

We went a couple of times when we were out in September ...it was lovely great food great service. Hope you enjoy.
