We have visited Calis twice on previous holidays and are returning on 30th July but I have no idea where the Calis duck pond is. Hopefully someone will be able to point us in the right direction.

Thanks

if you leave the beach and walk over the wooden bridge down the main street, about half way down on the left is Berlin Jewellers.  There is a small walkway just next to it - that will take you to the duckpond area.

I saw a T.V. Programme about the Panga Fish or Basa Fish.  It is imported from Vietnam and is a catfish that feeds off the bottom of waters.  It gets mixed reviews as the waters it lives in is not the best.
Look it up on the Internet for lots of information.

You really can't read much into that as millions of people love mushrooms but the compost they live in is definitely not the best.

We love Waitrose's Basa Fillets in Lemon and Herb Batter. You should try them. Oh, hang-on though, you haven't got a Waitrose up there have you ?  ;)

Nearest one about 110 miles away. So well within a little shopping trip.

Is there supposed to be a problem with bottom feeding fish? Pity that, bottom feeders include halibut, plaice, sole, cod, haddock, bass, and bream. Or perhaps ours live in places with really nice water.
