Thank you stoop, you just explained something to me thats baffled me for years. the ball was so slimey 7 english players could,nt stop him scoring what many people consider the best world cup goal EVER.

So, you don't count the European Cup Winners' Cup, the FA Cup and an OBE as anything.
More importantly, as far as I am concerned, he won the respect of many of his countrymen. Cheats and their supporters do a disservice to mankind.

I have long been of the opinion that there is far too much cheating in the game. I would send off anyone who pulled a shirt - this might cause a bit of trouble in the short term but they would soon get the message and it would benefit the game in the long run.
