One of the best laughs I heard in a football crowd was last season, Arsenal vs Portsmouth. The Pompey Supporter with the big hat, bare chest and bell had not returned from his half-time pie and pint. Noticing his absence the Arsenal fans began a chant of
'Where's the w&nker with the bell?, Where's the w&nker with the bell?' ... big laugh from Arsenal and Portsmouth supporters.
The game then progressed, suddenly the bell starts ringing again, and straight away the Pompey Fans in full voice and unison all turned and pointed to to the behatted bell ringer - who was now standing even larger than life - and they started to sing
'Here's the w&nker with the bell, Here's the worthless contemptible person with the bell'
Even bigger laugh from both sets of supporters. One of those perfect football crowd moments[^]
