Yes I agree - would never have guessed that he was that age.

My hope would be that by this time next year he doesn't look 59 because I believe he is one of the good guys, a football man.

Agreed. A lovable, legendary footballer, achiever and personality. In fact, the total opposite to the dullest manager in the history of the Old Firm, Neil Lennon.

At least when interviewed, we should be able to make Ally out. Unlike Walter Smith, who when questioned, responds like a ventriloquist. He lives in  my home town, and I can hardly understand a word he says!!!

I remember Ally McCoist was visited by the Big Breakfast a good few years back - when idiot celebrity Keith Chegwin was sent to knock on his door unannounced. McCoist explained after the surprise calling that he was in fact inside watching the programme live on TV - and was very surprised when he saw that the house about to be approached was actually his. "I was thinking that's my house" he said, "I remember watching him come to my front door and thinking, I wonder if I'm in".

It's almost impossible to make sense of, but in a strange way brilliant :D

That's right Russ, he broke the gold runner thing clean off the side of it. That's a good memory you have too, I'm sure you must therefore remember his Mrs coming into the kitchen wearing her white dressing gown. I remember thinking something along the lines of "phwooaarr"!!!
