Fenerbahce survived a late scare to clinch their 18th League title,their first since 2006-7,after beating Sivasspor 4-3 tonight.Trabzon who won the Turkish Cup this season missed out on The Double and were Runners-Up.

Yawn! Turkish football is so boring considering that over the last 100 years, the title has been swapped between Galatasaray and fenerbache with Besiktas and Trabzon making the occaisional effort and the one off fluke last year of Bursaspor.

The Turkish League has had 4 different champions in the last 4 seasons.The Premier League just 2 over the last 7 seasons.
