I get at least one email a week that arrives in my Junk Folder that doesn’t look much different to his pathetic pleading.

Strange, we told him that in 2004! And 2005, 2006....Here he is 13 years on pleading ignorance.
For the sake of honest, trusting people locally and the good reputation of British citizens with the Turkish people over there, please do not pledge one penny to this scamming, woman threatening & bullying, lying, stealing, deceptive liar - he is in the correct place now.
I might start a Justgiving appeal to raise £3,000 to ensure he stays there - money well spent.

Amazing he can say that the court cases were carried out in Turkish so he didn't know what was going on. What language did he expect them to be in? Regardless, my understanding is the State do supply you with a translator free of charge (well they did us :) )

On His F.B. Begging Page there is a "Report this Page". So why not report it? Copy and paste the section of the forum that Scunner has highlighted and put it on on F.B. Perhaps then they will take it down??

WTF the man is totally deluded and wouldnt know the truth if it hit him in the face. He is a perpetual liar, crook, scammer and more. He should have put a bit aside, of his illegal earnings, for a rainy day, or a spell in prison!! The sickner will be when he gets back to the UK, he will be given a roof over his head and benefits.

I will be very careful here. I have asked for assistance locally in finding out more. It appears that for certain crimes it is only immediate family members who are able to get info.

Well that is just terrible that this woman is allowing him to beg for money, knowing what he has done.
She should realise that there will be no credibility given to anyone advertising for donations on that site in future. I certainly would not be donating or taking her pages seriously.

I suspect it may have been temporarily disabled while being reviewed due to Keith reporting it as inappropriate.

I thought it had been taken down too but sadly not. On closer investigation there is/was a problem with the site - all of them could not be found.

Distasteful as his whinging, self pitying attempt to con money out of those who don't know him is, part of me is glad they didn't remove it.
Two reasons.
We complain about the crackdowns on freedom of expression in Turkey, yet by wanting the page removed we are acting in a similar fashion - albeit from a moral rather than authoritarian perspective.
The second reason is somewhat more vicarious :) the longer its still there, and the longer it goes without so much a dried up dog turd being donated, then the longer this individual stays locked up. Inspector can correct me if I'm wrong, but as I understand it if the fine isn't paid the person stays in prison.

Climate change maybe, or do folks feed their dugs more roughage then they did all those years ago?

I have mixed feelings about it staying -agree with both your reasons and would add a third, that it shows this pathetic, scheming conman as exactly the leech and liar he is - but in the "against" corner:
1. Websites with good intentions should not give convicted criminals a platform to beg and/or use deception to attract sympathy/money
2. While it is allowed to stay there is always a chance that some secret millionaire liberal might be taken in by it and pay it.
The escalating debt, moving further and further from the possibility of him ever being able to pay it is my preferred option. Fethiye deserves that.

It's down to the diet that dogs are on these days. Back in our time, dogs were fed mostly raw meat and bones which had a high calcium level. Hence the white, crumbly, almost odourless doggy dos. These days their diet consists of high levels of cheap rice and grain, or kibbles. Hence the unhealthy, smelly, walnut whip type of doggy dos.

Do what my brother did when we were kids......
He used to wrap them in news paper and put them on nosey neighbours doorsteps and set them on fire. He'd then ring the doorbell and when the door was answered the person would automatically stamp out the fire.
Very funny when we were kids....Not so sure about it now.

I have some emails from this person, trying to persuade me to rent a farmhouse in Kemer quite some years ago. They were very strange and I consider myself lucky that I took it no further. I don't seem to be able to post them here from my phone but maybe if I nip onto my laptop....
