Scunner, that phrase brought back memories of two minutes of great hilarity............a couple of years ago we were strolling past the Meeting Point and we noticed that the dog which belonged to next door was lying on the steps fast asleep on its back (its usual position!).
Big mouth me, quick as a flash, shouted out "Ken Dodd's Dad's Dog"s Dead"................or that is what I should have said!
Inevitably, the quicker I tried to say it, the more tongue tied I became, until a group of people behind us joined in, slowly at first and then speeding up until almost everyone was tongue tied and bursting with laughter. There must have been around 20 people joining in by this time and most of us ended up with tears running down our faces.
I tell you, we weren't half tickled Missus!!
Memories are made of this!
