hi.Does anyone know where I can get a blood sugar test done for Diabetes?( been showing all the symptoms).Preferably somewhere english speaking,cheap,and providing a good service.Thanks very much.

Letoon Hospital on the Antalya road out of Fethiye can provide this service for you.   Go the foreigners section, the lady in charge there speaks perfect english as does her assistant Katy. Normal blood tests are about 20 lira.

Why don't you try esnaf? English speaking recepionist who will point you in the right direction.

esnaf is a about half a mile out of calis.If you need to use a dolmus either from fethiye or calis use the big blue and green beledye bus and they pass hospital every half hour(apart from lunchtimes)Both hospitals can be used by you,and you will get a bill from either,no dif.good health

Sorry should have said about half a mile out of fethiye,of course you can use the devlet hospital closer to calis if that is more convenient

Devlet is next to court. Esnaf is in fethiye..... between the Hello cafe and the Yakamoz restaurant, around where the new stretch of promenade starts.

Also, the blue bus does run every half hour but only passes Esnaf once an hour, they alternate the route passing Migros every other half hour

Went to Esnaf Hastanesi this morning.Go to the foreign patient assistance desk.Very friendly/helpful.Had a blood test done in 15 mins,results in 2 hours.Cost 13tl.good English speaking staff.would definately use again if the need arose.Got a copy of lab report and was explained to me by a doctor.Thanks for all the help again CBF members.

slightly off subject...but can you also get a cholesterol blood test done at Esnaf and ECG test done there, if so how much?..thank you in advance for any replies.

Yes, Esnaf will do just about anything for a price.
