Post by: tetmeister on October 05, 2009, 10:07:41 AM: Hi.My girlfriend has just changed back to her maiden name,and her married name is still on our tapu.Does she need to change this,or is the legal paperwork relating to this from UK suffice?thanks.

Post by: frozen on October 06, 2009, 06:22:45 AM: I as in the same position. I was told that if you come to selling your property then the name difference could cause problems. So I had everything changed, passport, tax number and of course the Tapu. Didn't come cheap but was peace of mind.
