Or , without the check.

90 days from and including , the day you got your visa. No buts, no roumers, just 90 days

Understand I should have searched but get fed up with the constant rumours that abound here. Today was told by someone who was adamant that the changes meant 90 days in 180 was now back in force and that I needed residency if I wanted to be here any longer so hence my question as I always think that the forum have the most up to date knowledge of what is going on.

My experience of Calis is that the more adamant someone is, the bigger idiot they actually are.

does anyone know where i would need to go to get an extension to the 90 day visa& how much it costs? i've read that it is possible to extend from 3 months to 6 months but i can't find out where to do it??
I was going to get residency but this might work out better for us as we are planning to do a bit of travelling during the summer so it might save us a bit of cash.

You'd need to do a day trip to one of the Greek islands, Rhodes is nearest to Fethiye, but some folk like to go to Meis. On your return you buy another 90 day visa at £10. At the mom you can do as many day trips as you like to renew a visa

oh ok.... but it would need renewing in December/January so i'm thinking not as many/if any trips over to rhodes?

There's at least one ferry a week in the winter from Fethiye to Rhodes & a daily ferry to Meis from Kas, so you'll be OK

Dont rely on the Rhodes trip in winter It is often postponed because of the weather Meis maybe postponed some days |But you can usually get across sometime Just allow yourself a week or 2 at least to organize
