Sorry :(
-
So it's now 20 USD per person (£12.19), looking back it was £10 in 2000 so can't really complain at the price increase?
-
Correction, just looked at an old passport and it was £10 in 1998, I am sure someone will know more accurately!

What happens if you have an existing visa that expires after 11th April 2014, do you carry on using this until your first visit after it expires?
-
The briefing says British Nationals will not be able to purchase entry stamps after 10th April 2014 and will need to have pre purchased an eVisa, so I read it that existing stamps will be valid until their expiry.
-
And for people who do not have Internet or internet savvy then I guess the buying of a visa at the airport is still on?
-
Presumably those not connected to the internet will be buying their flights or holidays either via post, phone or from a travel agent. In this case I would expect their agent to advise on need for visa and, probably, provide one (with charge for the service).

Wasn't there talk of self service machines on arrival at Dalaman?
Not that it would mean there will be of course.
-
I see that you have to pay 20 USD is there no way of paying in sterling ???
-
No

Thanks Scunner

Self service Turkish style, machine and a bloke to work it for you.
But seriously, with the visa being a "on demand" visa, without any data collected from the applicant then its likely there will be some provision on arrival. Alternatively they may make it a condition of carriage for the airlines that passengers have a valid visa before being allowed to travel. Can see some dopey check in punter trying to do the maths at 4.30am to see if you're within the 90/180 day rule!
