A Russian tourist is bitten by a monkey in his villa's garden in Ovacik yesterday. Not joking.

I used to see a monkey sitting on my rubbish bin quite often at night in Ovacik.I never went too near to it.    :) I think there is a story on the forum somewhere where a monkey jumped into a car with the occupants. The owners were a Turkish family who kept it as a pet and it had left their garden. I think that monkeys may also live in the trees around Ovacik. They are probably unwanted or lost pets.    :)
Just remembered who the people were who had the monkey in the car, it was Loz and Gordon and the monkey funnily enough had the Russian name Pasha!

We were on an Oludeniz dolmus a couple of years back with our Jack Russell terrier and a woman boarded with monkey on her shoulder - had to cover the dog's eyes to prevent mayhem !
