Thanks for that bit of info, looks like 2 years of intense "lets talk Turkish" is called for!! i can do "can you slice the braed please" but I doubt that will qualify:D

Thanks for this. These processes change all the time so this is really good info. Can we use your information to update the Fethiye Times page?

Are the permit rates still valid? You haven't updated those but I think they have gone up.

Only got 1 yr, now i can't remember if we paid £456 or £465 !? Dislectic accountant!

you can do it over a couple of days
saves the rush and fatige
you do need a drink when you finished
the pictures on fethiye times site help with location of the offices too

A big thank you to Dippey. Just moved over here 28 aug and have just completed residency permit for 2 years. Followed your instructions to the letter but came across a small problem. Paid 888 NTL and got receipt from tax office, only to be told by passport police that the fee should bee 894.60 NTL. He wouldn't accept a 30 NTL "donation" and made us go back to tax office to pay excess of 6,40 NTL each. Apart from that it was easier than I thought. Just time consuming. Thanks again for your help
