I have just read today's Daily Mail.On page 35,it infers that up to 30 types of bacteria, including ,ecoli, giardia, pseudomonas aeruginosa, cryptosporidium, and acanthamoeba are present in the majority of pools in hot countries.I am aware that some of these are present in UK pools too.If anyone is interested in the article you can view it at http://www.dailymail.co.uk and in the advanced window, type in pools swimming.I know this subject has been covered before, but the article shows the extent of the problem.Yes poor maintenance.Any sharks in the sea of Calis?
