We can make ginger beer sir.
2 litre bottle of still mineral water
large piece of root ginger (you need 1-1/2 to 2 tablespoons of grated ginger)
1/4 teaspoon of dried yeast
juice from 1 lemon
1 cup of sugar
put the yeast in the empty bottle
next put the sugar in
mix grated ginger and lemon together then put into bottle
fill the bottle 3/4 full with the mineral water and shake till all sugar dissolves
now add more water but leave a gap at the top to allow the yeast to work
lid must be very tightly fitted then place the bottle in a warm area for at least 24 hours.
once the bottle becomes very hard to the touch, it is ready.
overnight put the bottle in the fridge to stop the yeast working then in the morning back in a warm place. Once the 24-36 hours has passed, put the bottle in the fridge to chill.
Sieve the bottle contents to another bottle to remove any ginger lumps then,
