Moe, I had to laugh at Colwyns comments about the 'characterless' block paving ! How many times did we come a cropper in the flaming pot hols that used to be there. I rmemember Maureen going full length into one. We obviously never got the hang of promenading the holes in the road with the minimum of street lighting to guide the way.
