Visa- 3 months or 90 days

Could anyone help me? Does a visa last 90 days or 3 months.
We arrived in calis on the 31st july then flew home in aug but we are returning next week.
I understand we won't need to purchase a visa but on the day we return home our visa will state its been 91 days.
Do we need to purchased a new visa stamp or not.

I was told that it is what ever is stamped on ur visa, whether its 3 months typed on it or 90 days! My last visa stated 90 days which i went to renew it just before the 90 days was up but this time it states 3 months and i was told to count it from that day in months eg,we went 13th August so it runs out 13th November!

Yes, its 90 days. It's written down on your visa that its 90 days

I have just looked at my passport and i have got 11 visas in it,9 saying 3 months and 2 saying 90 days!

It is whatever it states on the visa.

Just checked my passport, it seems that between July and December last year the visa stamp changed, from a browny colour to blue and yellow. The browny coloured ones state 3 months, the blue and yellow one 90 days. So I would say that now it is 90 days.

 :)For the sake of £10.00 I would just get one, its not worth the hassle even if your 1 day over it could cost you dearly. I would also say 90 days.

My visa is the brown colour and i got it in August this year and that states 3 months.
