Anyone Know Sannyrut In "Real Life"?

I was thinking about Sannyrut (Alec) today, realising he hadn't posted in a while. In fact, he hasn't been on CBF since late June. I also recall he had to cancel a trip here because of ill health.

Does anyone know him away from CBF? I hope all is ok.

I think he is known to John H. I am sure  they were both in the police force.
