We go the day before and its worked out fine for 18 months. Just remember that the boat does not run on weekends and allow for the change in the weather from now on.

Don't forget to phone Selo a couple of days earlier to book your place on his boats.

Can anyone tell me, my last visa is stamped 13 August, if I count 90 days visa time, it runs out on 10th Nov - or am I allowed until 13th November (what do passport control look at when one is leaving Turkey? ) Ive heard you can be fined heavily if over 90 days yet someone else says its 3 months from the stamp date on entry, aaargh. My flight to UK is on 11th Nov so dont want to go to Meis for no reason

Your visa runs out on the 10th November, on the 90th day since you bought it.  Such a shame to have to buy a new one for the sake of a day, but apparently, that's the way the rules go!!   :)

Welcome to the forum by the way!   ;)

I thought that may be the answer, do you think its too risky to hope they wont notice?, Im leaving from Antalya airport to Manchester. Think Ill phone the airport and ask them - has anyone gone a day over and been let off - or are there horror stories of mega fines?

Oh dear. Thanks for the information though, does anyone have any idea of the cost of fines, for eg: one day over. Maybe worth the fine for all the hassle of having to go to meis one day before I fly to UK?

Last one I know for sure was 100 YTL for one day over.
