SEDATION AT DENTIST
« on: October 17, 2008, 09:13:19 AM »
Does anyone know of a dentist in Fethiye who gives sedation for treatment, e.g. Midazolam or Entonox (gas and air)?  I know it sounds wimpish but local anaesthetics freak me out!   At the moment I have to fly back to Lincoln for treatment!!!

I'm not sure bikerchickblonde, but if it's any help, I have just had a very troublesome wisdom tooth out, which was still completely inside the gum, by local anesthetic, and was in the chair for a total of 2 hours. Was not given a choice of any other methods, but still pleased with the dentist's work. Also I know that entonox is not available for childbirth here, so assuming it's also not available for dental work.

Rooneyr.... when you said you had an injection.. was it in your vein, not your tooth?   If so,  who was this wonderful dentist?  Could you please give name/phone number?

Cagatay Aras will use a sedative if necessary, see my other post for details of where to find him. I didn't have one because I'm hard.
