It was 3.17 a couple of years ago. Albeit only for a day or two.

According to Turkish economists a few weeks back, the true rate should be between 3.30 and 3.50.  Hope it gets there:D

with the pound in free fall against dollar what will 3 lira to the pound effect, interest rates at the bank, and inflation is my guess and harder times for those buying or selling in the peoperty market.are the expats seeing food inflation that the uk has in the last year or so.
