Why is this? Why charge us brits more? i heard that they charge different countries by what they charge the turks to enter, if thats true my partner didnt pay 10 pounds to enter England last year.

Ok so i know there are alot of Turks in Germany but wouldnt you call that racist cos one country has more turks than another.

i love this country but its very backwards including the salt and pepper pots!!!

It's actually one of the fairest pieces of legislation there is. The cost for residency directly reflects the cost for a Turk to visit the country concerned.

if you think its unfair on the Brits then what about the Dutch? They pay 50% more and have to pay in Euros. Italians pay nothing. It all depends on how much Turks get charged.
You might moan about the 10 pound visa but Turks have to pay a lot more for just a visa aapplication and if it gets turned down then they do NOT get a refund.
