I wasnt disputing generally its cheaper to live in Turkey I was specifically saying those who live mainly or wholly of high intrest accounts are comming to the end of the line, not that it isnt a cheaper country to live in

if you try some different investment plans you can still earn good money in Turkey.

I cannot see the logic of that.....if you come to the end of the line here how can you expect to survive in an inferior financial situation

I moved over to Calis because i couldn't afford to live in England, so why would i want to go back to a place i already know i can't afford to live, i don't dine out, and fair enough i had to give up drinking, but i can still go out, i have my pension and i can live on that, so that will do me. lucky you, fair play to you

As I have said I am not talking about those who have an independent income just those who were living solely of high intrest accts

the average turkish family of 2 adults and 2 children on low income, say, 800tl a month, which is average for labourers/gardeners, have to and can live on this amount....they dont have a good life style...so 800tl for a  UK "retired couple" cant be that bad can it?????..if you had all your money in high interest accounts, say, £50000 @ 15% would give you a lot more than 800tl to live on..so therefore why would we want to go back to the UK to a worse financial situation??

I will settle for 15% and have this "better" lifestyle than go back to UK and have "that" life style and only 3% interest!!
