Hi all, has anyone actually used a dentist in turkey for cosmetic dentistry, or know of a good one, I have searched topic and found the dental holiday answer, but is there another one anyone can reccommend, thinking of visiting a dentist when over in may then if everything seems ok having upper crowns when over in july, but would like reccommendations first, thanx.Bee

Bee, there is a guy in the centre of fethiye who I would recommend. Very affordable, good English and great service. Will try and get his email for you!

hello, last summer my mum went to a cosmetic dentistry in fethiye, he was very reasobale priced and very hygenic and professional. also i sent to him 2 british as well and they love it too. they said they even havent seen a pro like this in uk. so his name is emrecan arikan and he is a friend of mine. drop me an pm for appoinment if you want. so you can get a discount.

hi bee i have had loads of work done by ibrahim ozturk at mydent in fethiye, ceramic crowns ,bridges etc ,had the work done 3 years ago and not a problem,very reasonable prices compared to uk,fantastic surgery very high tech,i go for check up every 6 months when i am over,if you are going for 2 weeks and need a lot of work doing make sure yuor 1st appointment is for the day yuo arrive so he can get it all sorted for you ,the surgey is on the back road in fethiye just down from cotton alley on the left going down the hill cheers peter

Hi all, thanx for your replies, looking on the internet, I found one called dental in Turkey, which is on kemal bulvari, the lady dentist is called Dt Aysegul's there are lots of positive postings on her site, does anyone know of her, thanx again, Bee

I would be cautious of good postings in a guestbook or on a website as they could be self generated.I would go for referals from people you know or members off this forum.This is my personel feeling.

Hi Bee,  I had major dentistry done about 4 years ago now, while up in Bodrum.  I had the whole lot capped and several bridges over a period of 2 months.  To date I have had only one problem and needed some route canal work done, this was performed by Cagatay in Fethiye, who I too can highly recommend.  I have been here many years and used several dentisits, all have been very hygenic and as painless as possible, I am a scaredy cat when it comes to dentists!
