Residency renewal in Mugla

My daughter has had Residency for the last 3 years, and has done it the usual way where it takes 6 weeks for your passport to come back. This year it is renewable in December, but as she is going back to the UK for Xmas. She needs to do it in a day. I have heard this can be done in Mugla. Has anyone ever done this, and if so, how do you go about it.

It would actually take two days, first day running around all the offices in Fethiye getting all the paperwork stamped and then a trip to Mugla to get final stamps and Certificate, you need to get into Mugla early as these things can't be rushed!
