So what you are saying is that you can keep your water until you have to go through to departures - then you must declare it and buy a bottle when you get through?

Isn't that what we already do in the UK and then get ripped off by WH Smiths - paying something like £2 (4.5ytl) for a bottle that costs 70p in Tesco?

How much is a small bottle in Dalaman these days?

Not much difference then? Still a rip off but then again they do have 'very large overheads' It's £10 for two coffees in Dubai airport. They are all the same! Captive audience and all that.

They may have changed it because one of the security guards at the gates was ripping people of last year he tried it with me took me to one side got his book out as if I had done something wrong and then asked for my change money in my tray. Anyway last week I paid the 42 lira for the cip lounge drank five cups of coffee and ate as much food as I could get down me money well spent I thought.:D

Do not go through passport control until you are called to board, then you can eat and drink your (and pop out for a ciggy for those of you who must)in the main area of the airport. Sorted until they think of something else.

Not quite all - a superb large cappuccino was 2.5 euro at Venice Airport last week, on par or cheaper than UK Starbucks.

Yes that hasn't changed

Sounds like 'jobs for the boys' to me!

You go through security, dump your luggage, and go through another lot. [?]

Seems like the C.I.P.Lounge has gone up as well. Last time we where in there it was 30 lira each.  We thought that was good value, as we had a meal each and some soft drinks which would have cost a lot more in one of the restaurants in out in the airport. :o

What food and drink do you get in cip and do you have to pre book or just do it on the day. Kids goin back to England on their own in the Summer eldest is 19 but want to know if they are delayed they can eat and drink reasonably.
