if you are talking of 50KGBP, 1.00GBP at the excahange rate of 2.3TL equates to 115,000TL. invested at an intrest rate of approx 9.2% (Ziraat)for 35 days, = intrest of 1014.52tl less tax at 15% leaves you approx 862.34TL to spend for 35 days. This obviously depends on the intrest rate fluctuations. i rigidly use a spread sheet & as soon as there is an alteration in the rates, i adjust my sheet accordingly. Because i have over 100,000Tl in my account, i get approx 2% over base rate. Each bank is different so why don't you start a spread sheet & compare the different banks. i keep with Ziraat because when everybody was getting 7.5 -8%, i was still getting 11.5, this was because i took Tuba's advice & if this bank goes down, then turkey is bankrupt.
