So when Didim Times ran a poll on Turkey's most popular resort and Fethiye was the runaway winner with their very own Altinkum trailing miles behind that was entirely due to dirty tricks from CBFers. Probably.

Exactly - I am quite prepared to believe Calis might not be voted No.1 in Turkey but Jesus, Altinkum couldn't win resort of the year if only it and Seascale entered! As for Marmaris being about as classy as the southern resorts get, I must admit, I saw much more class in Marmaris than in dumps like Fethiye, Kalkan, Gocek and Kas. Who writes that rubbish!

So why isn't there a picture of Didim/Altinkum on the cover of every UK Turkey holiday brochure instead of Olu Deniz?

Must say I've never been and people who live there seem to love it, maybe a question of liking the places you know.
