My friend had one fitted here about 18 months ago....
He is as fit as a fiddle.. he followed the doctors advice on diet and exercise.
He now train's 5 times a week at the Esnaf gym and is very well.
Ease your self into health, keep your heart pumping and good luck.

My brother-in-law in the UK had a heart attack last week & stent fitted. Off work initially for a month & no driving until further notice (assuming if all is well on his check up that might change)?

I have had 2 fitted (same artery 18 months apart) but due to healing around the stent they both failed
all this before the age of 40
the emidiate effect was great but over a period of 18 months it was just as bad as before
the advice I would give is keep active, eat healthy, regular health checks and listen to your doctor
don't think this is a life sentance  You can still enjoy a beer or two but in moderation
