Just heard from someone who lives in Kas - Selo is not doing the Meis trips at all. So looks like Meis express then.

I had booked to go with Selo in June, when we arrived the boat was locked up and no crew around. I was told that Selo's business had gone bankrupt and he was in hospital in Antalya. Apparently somebody has purchased the boat but i am unsure if they will continue with the Meis trips.

I think the big reduction in Residence Permit costs has had an effect on the number of people wanting to go on visa runs. It's blown his business out of the water.

Meis express are in operation - used them last week. Web site states 20 euro for trip - you pay 50TL at their office ex rate last week was 20 euro = 43.5 TL!! Be aware though this is not a visa run per se like Selo did. We ended up waiting for 2 late turkish travellers for over an hour - resulting in having to stay over in Meis for the extra time too. Didnt get back to Kas until 1650 then was told we had to wait another hour for the passports to be returned!
I think they pick up in Fethiye too - never used the pick up service as they wanted me to meet them 2 miles away so made my own way there.
