Thanks. I tried again and got the site but when I did a 'temporary allow popups' the site froze again.
Since then, I have connected by cable to my modem and allowed permanent popups from Finansbank. I was able then to login but then I lost connection again after completing the first page (to renew password).
Since then I have been unable to connect to the site at all.  I have e-mailed the Finansbank helpdesk but have received no answer yet. I have had no problem with other sites. I have done a speedtest and it is running at 10 Mbps ( 3 times faster than my Turkish one).  This problem is not limited to today; I first tried a few days ago with no success and wondered if it was because of the holiday but now it would seem not.
